Effective date: September 11, 2026
This policy explains the general approach to appointment cancellations, refunds, parts returns, and service-related charges.
The exact terms for a specific transaction should also be shown in the applicable booking confirmation, estimate, invoice, receipt, or other written service terms.
Appointment Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, contact the service team as soon as reasonably possible.
A cancellation or rescheduling charge should apply only when that charge was actually disclosed for the specific appointment and is permitted by applicable law.
This website does not create a blanket cancellation fee for every appointment.
Diagnostic or Service-Call Charges
A diagnostic, trip, inspection, or service-call charge may be non-refundable after the visit has occurred if that charge was disclosed and the service was performed.
If a service-call charge is credited toward approved repair work, that credit should follow the specific estimate or invoice terms for the transaction.
Approved Repair Work
Once repair work has been authorized and performed, labor already completed is generally not treated as a returnable product.
If there is a dispute about completed work, contact the service team promptly with the service date, appliance information, invoice or work-order information, and a description of the concern.
Any available reinspection, labor warranty, adjustment, refund, or other remedy depends on the terms actually provided for that service and applicable law.
Parts Orders
Parts may be ordered specifically for an appliance model or repair.
Return eligibility can depend on:
whether the part was special ordered
whether it was installed
whether packaging was opened
whether it is electrical, electronic, gas, refrigeration, control, or another restricted category
supplier return rules
restocking charges actually imposed by the supplier
shipping costs
whether the part was correctly supplied and is in returnable condition.
Do not assume every ordered part can be returned.
If a part has already been installed or cannot be returned to the supplier, a refund may not be available unless the transaction terms or applicable law require otherwise.
Deposits and Prepayments
A deposit or prepayment should be refundable, non-refundable, or partially refundable only according to the terms actually disclosed before payment and applicable law.
This policy does not create a universal non-refundable deposit rule.
If a deposit was collected for a special-order part, cancellation after the order was placed may be affected by the supplier's return policy and costs already incurred.
Incorrect, Defective, or Damaged Parts
If a supplied part is incorrect, defective, or arrives damaged, contact the service team promptly.
The available remedy may include replacement, supplier return, repair adjustment, or refund depending on the supplier process, installation status, and applicable warranty or consumer law.
Do not discard the part or packaging until return or inspection instructions are provided when a return may be required.
Refund Timing
When a refund is approved, processing time depends on the payment method, payment processor, bank, and transaction type.
A refund being issued does not guarantee that it will appear immediately on the customer's statement.
Charge Disputes
Before initiating a payment dispute, customers are encouraged to contact the service team so the transaction, invoice, service notes, parts status, and any applicable remedy can be reviewed.
This does not limit any lawful right to dispute a charge.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under California or federal consumer-protection law.
